 from the Work it Out! team

'Are you on your own this Christmas, away from  your family  or
just looking  for some friendly festive cheer? 

If so, you're invited to join the amazing 'Work it Out!' team for 

'A Festival of Christmas Kindness'

Participants from this year's Work it Out! process are using their newly  acquired 'Zoom skills' to host  some Carol Singing, Christmas Bingo, a relaxing Hand Massage,  Storytime for the Kids, Christmas Football Show, a 'Friends' Quiz, readings from your favourite Christmas stories - and much more!

I am the singer/guitarist and writer for the band THE LIGHT. A six piece 'Body Mind And Soul' band based in County Clare, Ireland. We play songs of hope, joy and unity.  As a musician I see my role as one of spreading my message of love, compassion and unity to as many people as possible. This song  'Look to the Heavens' is the   first part of my contributions to a Work it Out! Christmas!  
​Maria Houlihan is a herbalist who lives, loves, sings, writes, creates art and formulates natural cosmetics in East Clare with her son and partner. Maria has an honours degree in botany from NUI, Galway. Maria is passionate about using food and herbs to support and nourish the body inside and out.   [email protected]
Heather Rice is a Photographer, Toy maker, Educator and Author of three books, two Alphabet books and a book on the Wildflowers of the Slieve Bloom M ountains.

Mary Dorshorst is a mum and a host mum to students from Europe. I am a volunteer with the befriending refugee group in Tipperary town where I help with slate painting and craft.

Stefan Reynolds, author, poet, theologian, has a PhD from London University in Medieval Literature, lives and works in Co. Waterford. Author of Mindfulness in Christian Spirituality (2016) and The Wisdom of Love in the Song of Songs (2018). Currently working on a book of poems and photographs with Heather Rice (Work it Out!) and a book on Mount Melleray Abbey: History and Walks with Denis Luke O'Hanlon (Work it Out!).
Patricia Moloughney loves being a Mammy to May and Kim; her favourite job. Teaching languages, hypnotherapy and project management and singing are her passions and she loves to combine all four!  She is delighted that the WorkItOut! Kalia Rice is a 17 year old Home Educated Dancer who wants to be a Midwife. She loves minding people and making Snowflakes! 

This session is suitable for people who can fold paper carefully and use sharp scissors, so probably 7+ years. 
All you need  squares of paper  a sharp pair of scissors and some Christmas Cheer!
