What is Work it Out Coaching?
Work it Out Coaching is about building relationships with people you meet. It is not an off-the-shelf product or a ready-made business system. Everyone is different and our objective is always to help the person to achieve what is really important to them and to be all that they can be.
Coaching is therefore is much too narrow a word to describe the process. It's about conversations, building relationships and working (every way we can) with people to help them to achieve their goals. So, we are not just providing an isolated or detached support service like traditional coaching. Our Coaches use their full toolkit of skills, experience, knowledge, contacts and expertise. A better word for our Work it Out Coaches are effectively Work it Out Practitioners.
We say to colleagues from the start that we are here to work with you – to help you to work it out. We don't just advise and leave them to it.
Our three core principles are:
Collaboration – we work with the person and build a strong supportive relationship.
Accountability – we know what results we are working towards together and this is our compass.
Integrity – we are our ‘true selves’ in this process and not just delivering a service.
Work it Out Coaching is about a commitment to the other person. It is not a detached role. The process is a continuous one starting with your initial coaching session. This is then followed up with support and ongoing work with the person. Work it Out Coaching is you as a combination of coach, manager, trainer, consultant and advisor.
You are working collaboratively with the person and using your full set of tools, skills and experience that you have gathered. It's called Work it Out Coaching because you work it out with the person and achieve the results together.
How can I get more paying clients?
There are many many courses that teach you how to be a coach. There are however, very few that work with you to build a real, profitable and sustainable coaching business.
As part of the Work it Out Coaching network Des McCabe will personally help you
- to find your clients
- to develop a regular/monthly meeting framework with them and
- to grow these relationships through other support services.
He will work with you on an ongoing basis to help you build a solid and sustainable coaching business. Most coaching systems leave you to find clients yourself or charge huge fees to buy into their franchise.
The Work it Out! methodology will enable you to quickly find clients, develop your coaching effectiveness and help people to get results. There is nothing better than current clients who want you to keep working with them and who happily recommend you.
In terms of income, Work it Out Coaching incorporates a gateway for other initiatives. Work it Out Coaches deliver coaching, mentoring, training, consultancy, hands-on support and advice. We utilise all the tools that we have to help the person to achieve all that they want to do. This can often include e.g. business development, interview preparation, joint initiatives, collaborative projects, CV writing or new ventures. Every person and every collaborative journey is different.
