PROPERTY MANAGEMENT If the sea was grass we could walk on water. If the world lost its gravity we could fly. Nothing is impossible If we change properties. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE. 1. Describe the property that you would like to have. CANDLELIGHT The first thing I do in the morning, when I come downstairs, is to light a candle. It sits beside me on a little coffee table, while I have a cup of tea. The candle is there, alight all day, as life goes on around it. And the last thing I do before I go to bed, is say thanks, and blow out the candle. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What keeps you company throughout the day? 2. What is the last thing that you do before you go to bed? SITTING ROOM I used to think of this time just sitting quietly, as taking a chunk out of my day when I had so much to do. Now I know that this time just sitting quietly, is the most important part of my day and is all I need to do. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. When are you going to sit quietly today? SOLUBLE ASPIRIN We don’t die. There is in fact no major transformation. We continue onwards. We dissolve like soluble aspirin into our new world. We still are who we are. But now everything is clear. We are at last one with all those around us. All suffering and pain is gone. We are ready for everything. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What are you getting ready for? FAITH We think of faith as something we believe in, when in reality, faith is something that believes in us. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What or who believes in you? TO BE OR NOT TO BE May love be today in all that I say, in all that I do, in all that I think, and in all that I am. May love be today in all that I don’t say in all that I don’t do in all that I don’t think, and in all that I am not. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. 'To be or not to be' - that great line from Hamlet by William Shakespeare . What does it mean to who and what you are? HELL There is no Hell. Hell has already existed for many in this life. There has been enough suffering. There is only love to come. Open to all, really available, warm, welcoming and joyful. Love will consume all hatred, all evil and all our distress. Love will renew our hopes, cherish our loved ones, and restore all as it should be. There has been enough fear. The only hell that exists is the one that we create, and love will conquer this. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What would you like love to restore or renew for you? PROJECT MANAGER Pick a project every day. A mini activity that you will focus on. It might be writing something, or fixing something, or creating something. It could be helping someone, talking to someone, or working with someone. This will be your achievement and success from today and every day from now on. Pick a project today and every day. And watch your legacy grow. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What is your project for today? 2. What is tomorrow's project? ARCHITECTS We are all social architects. We build the future each day through our interactions with others. We can create our dreams and we can offer encouragement. We can help others to dream. We are all social architects. This is our vocation given to us when we were born, to make the world a better place. And so, every day we awaken to this opportunity and invitation. We are all social architects. We use our skills, gifts and talents, our knowledge, contacts and experience, our links, friendships, and relationships to build projects and initiatives and construct a better future together. We are all social architects. Take your role seriously. Have your plan and act every single day. Be ambitious for a better world. A kind and safe place where we can all live in peace and joy. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. What are you designing at the moment as a Social Architect? 2. Who is on your building team? EARLY MORNING CALL I like to get up early in the morning. I like to get up and find the day. I like to sit and see the Sun come up. I like to get up and find my way. I like to get up early in the morning. I like to get up before the light. I like to sit with my cup of tea. I like to get up while it’s night. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE 1. How do you kick-start your day? 2. How do you focus on what is important to you every morning? |
