Day 111 - Spatial Recognition

SPATIAL RECOGNITION 
 
There is no set formula
or words in prayer.
Every conversation is different.
 
For it’s not about talking.
It’s about sitting patiently
and waiting.
 
Not for some miraculous
words of wisdom,
but for a gentle thought.
 
This is prayer.
Sitting, quietly waiting and
leaving space for that thought.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT EXERCISE
1.  Where and when will you sit quietly today – ‘leaving space for that thought’?
2.  The process of prayer is bespoke to each of us.  I use the word Spatial Recognition to describe prayer.  What word or phrase would you use?
